Medway Cultural Council Announces New Painting Series

The first painting pop-up will take place during the Medway Farmers' Market at Choate Park on Thursday, September 3rd from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

The public is welcome to view the process from start to finish.

Local artist Michael Cannistraro (Canman) will create a series of large scale acrylic paintings that will feature the four distinct seasons of New England. Each 5ft.x 6ft. canvas will be painted live at a location in Medway.

Mike (Canman) Cannistraro and his wife Angela own Visions Tattoo, Piercing Art Gallery in Medway. The business has been in operation for 16 years.
Canman has been tattooing for 25 years and is an accomplished acrylic/oil painter.

Canman will also be painting his acrylics at the following locations. The public is welcome to observe.

- August 30, 8-1 in the Muffin House parking lot

- September 3, 4-7 at Medway Farmers Market at Choate

- September 6, 8-1 in the Muffin House parking lot

- September 10, 4-7 at the Medway Farmers Market at Choate (this is tentative, and is in the process of being confirmed)
