Community Preservation Com Public Hearing

The Community Preservation Committee will conduct a Public Hearing on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 7:30 PM via Zoom.  The purpose of the hearing will be to discuss proposals for utilizing the Town’s Community Preservation Act Funds in the following areas:

Acquisition, creation, and preservation of open space;

Acquisition and preservation of historical resources; 

Acquisition, creation and preservation of land for recreational use;

Creation, preservation and support of community housing;

Rehabilitation or restoration of such open space, historical land and recreational use, and community housing that is acquired or created.

Medway citizens interested in these areas and/or who have specific ideas as to how the Town should expend its Community Preservation Act funds are urged to participate. Residents of specific neighborhoods who have proposals in any of the above-mentioned areas for improving the quality of life in their particular neighborhoods are particularly urged to participate.

Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, no in-person attendance by the public will be permitted at this meeting.  Access to this public hearing will be via Zoom with the link posted on the Community Preservation Committee’s public hearing notice and its agenda (www.townofmedway.org).
