post

Congratulations to the Medway Police Department's newest Sergeant, Robert O'Neill. This morning, in a swearing-in ceremony at Town Hall, Sgt. O'Neill was sworn in by Town Clerk, Stefany Ohannesian. Sgt. O'Neill has held multiple positions throughout his tenure with the Medway Police Department. His career began in 1996 as a reserve police officer. While working in this role, he also worked as a dispatcher for the department from 1997-2005. He entered the police academy in 2005, and upon graduation immediately entered the force as a patrolman for the Medway Police Department. In 2017, he was promoted to School Resource Officer, and in 2019 to Detective.

We know Sgt. O'Neill's grandfather, the late Colonial Matondi, would have been very proud of his grandson today. (Pictured, Maggie O'Neill, Chief Allen Tingley, Lt. Kingsbury, Lt. Reardon, Town Manager, Michael Boynton & Town Clerk, Stefany Ohannesian, and Sgt. Robert O'Neill.
