Route 109 update for the week of October 31, 2014
The contractor is aware of the Pumpkin Walk at Choate Park this weekend and will have their equipment removed from the area.
Next week they will be installing a drain pipe on Main Street starting just east of Lincoln Street, heading west. When they cross the end of Lincoln Street traffic will be detoured from Lincoln Street onto Mann Street, up High Street, and out onto Main Street. There will be signage at the Medway Mills. Later in the week when they cross in front of High Street traffic will be detoured coming up High Street onto Mann Street and out Lincoln Street.
Colombia Gas will be onsite on Monday October 31st to connect Oak Street to the new gas main that was put in last month. They will be working on the back side of the guard rail on the edge of Oak Street and will not interfere with Main Street traffic.
Verizon will continue to relocate poles in the coming weeks. This should not impact traffic.
