Route 109 update for the week of October 10, 2016

You will notice that traffic delays have lessened significantly in the last week and we expect travel along Route 109 to continue to be relatively normal moving forward with only slight delays.  This is due in large part to the completion of most of the gas work.  Columbia Gas will be returning later this month to complete their work, but that will likely only take 3 days.

The contractor will continue to install drainage between Cottage Street and Winthrop Street.

You will notice that utility companies will be relocating poles and moving wires along the route for the next couple of months.  This work is on the very side of the road and should not impact travel in any way.
