Route 109 update for the week of November 7, 2016

The new Choate Park Christmas Tree, generously donated by R. P. Marzilli Landscape Contractor, is scheduled to be planted on Monday, November 7.  This should not impact road construction or traffic.

The contractor will continue installing drainage on Main Street. Columbia Gas will be onsite connecting the new main.  This will likely take 4 days.

Weather permitting work will continue for approximately 6-8 weeks before pausing for the winter months.  In that time you will continue to see drainage work along Main Street and we are advised that major traffic delays are not anticipated.  You will also continue to see utility workers relocating poles and wires along both sides of Main Street.  That work should not impact traffic at all.
