West Street Bridge Repairs to Start on July 28 thru September

Preparation work is currently being conducted in the area of the West Street Bridge. The preparation work consists of silt fencing and control measures to prevent impacts to the waterways around the bridge. Residents should be aware that there is a possibility of some partial road closures between now and when the actual bridge repair work begins on July 28th to complete the preparation work. The West Street bridge (located between Millbrook Road & Holbrook Street) on West Street is scheduled to begin on July 28 and continue until the beginning of September. Work includes removal of asphalt layer and repairs to the concrete structure along with waterproofing and final paving. New guardrails will be installed and the banks along the slopes will be stabilized.

Please expect detours to be in place by Medway Police Department during the entirety of the projects. Letters are being sent to residents in the area.
