The Town of Medway would like to thank A.F. Amorello & Sons Inc. as well as State & Town Inspectors for keeping the Rte. 109 Project on target!

As we approach the winter season we wanted to keep you abreast of the plan to "button up" the project for the winter.

On or before December 14, 2018 all trash will be picked up and all driveway aprons will be paved, making them plowable.

Over the past few days you should have noticed that sidewalks are being completed on one side of the street (North side of Main Street), and the traffic lights located in front of the shopping plaza on Main Street are now operational.  Please note that all of the signals related to the construction on Main Street are all fully functioning at this time.

We would like to thank  A.F. Amorello & Sons Inc. as well as the State and Town Inspectors for keeping the project ON SCHEDULE and ON BUDGET.

Crews will return in the Spring to finish the project which has a scheduled completion date of June 30, 2019.  Work still to be completed includes the spreading of loam throughout the route as well as wall building and the planting of trees and bushes.  Finally, a final coat of asphalt will be laid down on the entire route inclusive of traffic markings.
