Town Manager Michael Boynton Storm Update as of 4:45 pm

Storm update as of 4:45 pm on December 18, 2023, by Town Manager Michael Boynton. Storms are now creating flooding problems throughout the town. Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) has issued a flood warning. We are now seeing the rivers in Town either breach their banks or come close, i.e., Charles River at the canoe ramp and chicken brook. Milford Street is closed between Fisher St and Summer Street due to flooding. Also, the area beyond Gray Squirrel is nearly impassible due to flooding; this, coupled with the situation on West Street, leaves the West side of Town in almost complete gridlock.
