If you missed Monday night's (July 10) Select Board meeting, here is a recap. The Select Board voted unanimously (4-0) to advance funds in lieu of borrowing for the asset management plan for water, wastewater, and stormwater, 4-0 unanimous vote to appoint Alex Jacobson for a 2-year term to the Affordable Housing Trust, and Rita Larrabee (appointment consideration put off to next meeting when Maryjane White is in attendance). 4-0 unanimous vote to appoint Dawn Budde, Zoe Rheault, and Alan White to 3-year terms and Crystal Buckley and Lindsey Colleli to 2-year terms on the IDEA Committee. DPU Process Update on the Medway Grid Project, 4-0 unanimous vote to hang historical signage at the Ide House and the Garnsey Foundation (near the dog park). These two signs are the first to be placed throughout Town at historical sites—acceptance of the stormwater management system easement at 33 and 39 Main Street. The easement gives the Town the right to go in and fix a problem if there is flooding. A 4-0 NO note on an affordable housing rent increase at Hathon, community host agreements for marijuana establishments (3-1), social equity policy for licensing of cannabis establishments 3-1 (vote), GATRA contract approved, Dorothy Santoro nursing services $7,000 4-0 vote, 4-0 approval of contract services with Authentic Landscapes for Senior Center Landscaping and Patio Construction, 4-0 vote to approve the contract with Southeastern Telecom, Inc. for phone system replacements, 4-0 engineering services assessment management plan Phase II, 4-0 vote for contract approval with Woodard & Curran for Engineering Services for Water, Sewer, and Stormwater Systems Asset Management Plan for Phase II, 4-0 vote approval for a contract with Gale Associates for Engineering Consulting Services for Hanlon Track and Field Complex, 4-0 contract approval with PJ Albert for asphalt sidewalks for various streets, Authorization to expend grant funds for MassDOT Complete Streets program Project Prioritization Plan, and contract with VP Decor, Inc. for Painting of 50 Winthrop Street. Discuss the high school driveway culvert and the work that must be completed to make it safe.
