Select Board Meeting - Monday, May 6, 2024

The next meeting of the Select Board is TONIGHT, Monday, May 6, 2024, at 7:00 pm. All are welcome to join the meeting at Town Hall, 155 Village Street.

Agenda items include the recognition of Medway High School Cheer Team - State and New England Champions! Appointment considerations to the Board of Registrars - reappointment of Judith Lane. Taxation aid Committee (Elderly & Disabled Tax Fund). Appointment consideration is given to Joanne Russo, Carol Nieldbala, Morgan Harris, Chris Park, and Faina Shapiro. Authorization to expend the grant fund - Mass Cultural Council grant for $8,500.  Advance of funds instead of borrowing: to purchase Oak Grove parcel, discussion/approval of new town website vendor. Contract approval with Environ Energy for energy conservative measures at four facilities. A discussion/vote on historical commission signs at the Medway Police Station and the Medway Public Library. Discussion vote on Annual Pride Flag Raising on May 31, 2024, discussion/vote on Hathon affordable rent increase request, vote on article 12 of the May 13, 2024, town meeting warrant. The consideration of public events: Turkey Trot (November 28, 2024), and Cystic Fibrosis Cycle for Life (October 5, 2024). Read the entire agenda here.
