Select Board Meeting - May 15, 2023

The next meeting of the Select Board is tonight, Monday, May 15, 2023, at 6:45 p.m. The meeting will go into Executive Session for non-union personnel negotiations. It will open at 7:00 p.m. for a public hearing with Verizon New England and NSTAR to discuss a joint pole installation on Oakland Street. The agenda includes a discussion/vote on the Town Manager contract, a discussion vote on the traffic rules and regulations, the approval of a contract with Walsh Construction for an agreement with the water treatment facility, a discussion on the unaccounted-for water loss, and the Charles River Pollution Control District Volume Update. Agenda items also include the approval of a two-year contract extension with Lawrence Waste Services for trash and recycling services. Acceptance of a budget transfer request for unemployment services and utility box historical wraps, and a discussion/vote on the Select Board meeting schedule and liaison positions.
