Medway Police Department is "In Pursuit of Presents"

pursuit of presents

The Medway Police Association is starting up again with our 5th Annual “In Pursuit of Presents”. We will be collecting unwrapped gifts this holiday season for those in need in our community, as well as the surrounding communities.

The MPA started “In Pursuit of Presents” in 2016. Our initial goal was to fill a cruiser, but we quickly learned that we would need MUCH more space. In 2017, we upgraded to a storage unit to hold all of the donations! In 2018 and 2019, we could hardly shut the storage unit's door! The response from the community has really been amazing. The last day for collections is Monday, December 21st.

The MPA will be collecting donations 24/7 at the Medway Police Department. This year, we will be doing CONTACTLESS DROP OFF! We will have a bin outside of the station to keep everyone safe.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to do any of our past events, such as “A Night with Santa” at the Thayer House, or any collections at MHS sporting events. We hope we can continue this tradition next year!

We will be teaming up with Ocean State Job Lot in Medway again! We will be collecting gifts each Saturday and Sunday morning, starting November 21st!!

All of the gifts that are donated will be delivered to the Santa Foundation in Franklin, where they will then be distributed. We suggest gifts such as board games, dolls, building toys, art supplies, action figures, and coloring books. The Santa Foundation donates to children of all ages! We ask that all gifts be unwrapped.

As always, feel free to reach out via messenger, or by calling the MPD business line at 508-533-3212 with any questions!

Help the Medway Police Association make this a special holiday for those in need! #MPDCares
