Save the Date for Medway's Christmas Parade.

The Medway Christmas Parade Committee is in the process of producing the 30th Annual Christmas Parade to be held on Nov. 26, 2022.

Our Christmas Parade has become a tremendous tradition with an estimated 8,000 residents viewing the parade and ceremonies at the Thayer House and Choate park.

The parade route begins at 5:30 p.m at Medway High School. The parade route will proceed down Rte. 126 to Milford St. to Franklin St., left on to Village St. to Medway Village, left on to Holliston St. to Main St., to Choate Park. The parade route will end at the Thayer House. Ceremonies at the Thayer House will include the presentation of this year's Grand Marshalls , Retired Police, Chief Allen Tingley and Retired Select Board member and the Director of the Thayer House, John Foresto. This year a special appreciation award will be presented to Jean Blethen-Coady.

Ceremonies will include the Lighting of the Choate Park Christmas display and will end with a dazzling fireworks display.

Santa and Mrs. Clause will be key figures in the parade and will be available at the Thayer house for visits and photos. Concession stands will also be available at the Thayer House and Choate Park.

Each year parade participants include antique vehicles, community and civic floats, decorated commercial vehicles, and fire apparatus from many communities in Eastern Massachusetts. Last year the parade had 55 fire trucks and security vehicles, including antique fire trucks.

Fundraising is underway and businesses, civic groups, and residents are asked to help raise the $12,000.00 plus to produce the parade and fireworks display.

100% of the funds required are raised privately. Any surplus is used to purchase the lights and ornaments that are displayed at Choate Park.
