Bonfire - Medway Middle School hosted by Town of Medway, Medway Gridiron Boosters and Medway/Millis Youth Football and Cheer

The Town of Medway, the Medway Gridiron Boosters, and the Medway/Millis Youth Football and Cheer are hosting a bonfire the night before the Medway-Millis Big Thanksgiving Day Game!

Let's get psyched for the BIG Thanksgiving Day football game! This fun event will take place from 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22, on the gravel lot of the Medway Middle School. The bonfire will be lit at 7:00 p.m. Please join the Medway/Millis Colts Cheer team for hot chocolate and sweet treats ($1 each) during the Annual Bonfire Event! Donations via cash, Venmo (@Medway-Cheer) & PayPal (medwaycolts) are greatly appreciated! All donations fund our cheer team's journey to the National American Youth Cheer Competition in FL! 

The Medway Fire Department will supervise the fire and maintain the right to cancel due to weather, a shift in winds, etc. Safety is of the utmost importance to all. 

Here are a few essential points to remember to help make this a great and safe event for all:

1) There will be NO on-street parking along Holliston Street or adjacent streets to the Middle School. This will provide emergency vehicle access and as a courtesy to all neighbors. Please use parking at the Middle School (including the Kelly St. Lot) and the Burke/Memorial School lots. Please DO NOT park on any grass surfaces to help prevent damage to fields and lawns

2) Parents are asked NOT to drop off kids at the event. Please enjoy the event with your son or daughter in an authentic family atmosphere.

3) It goes without saying, but as a reminder, there is NO smoking or drinking on school property or on public ways.

4) Medway Police will be on hand to assist with traffic and security.
