April news from the Town Assessor

- The assessor will be doing inspections on properties with building permits over the next few months.
- Income and Expense forms are due.
- Letters will be mailed notifying owners that Supplemental bills will be forth coming. (This is a one-time bill in addition to the typically quarterly bills for properties that are new or have a significant addition) If the new value after the building is complete or the addition is complete increases the value 50% or more from last year a supplemental bill will be issued. The bill represents a time period from the time of the occupancy permit to June 30th, 2016.
