Select Board meeting August 14, 2023

The next meeting of the Select Board will be on Monday, August 14, 2023. Agenda items include the introduction of Medway's new Planning & Economic Development Coordinator, Jeremy Thompson, Appointment consideration of Rita Larrabee to the Board of Assessors, Michael Billeri to the Affordable Housing Committee, and Pete Pelletier to the Survey Board.  The authorization to expend the following grant funds: 911 Department Support and Incentive Grant, 911 Department Training Grant, Emergency Connectivity Fund Grant to Support Digital Learning and Remote Access to Technology, and an environmental protection agency grant for the water treatment facility. The acceptance of an easement at 7 Sanford Street. Discussion of the Medway Energy Center (BESS) Introduction, conservation restriction for 116 Winthrop St., Public meeting workshop for Hazard Mitigation Plan update with the local planning team and Metropolitan Area Planning Council, a discussion/vote of the community choice aggregation plan prepared by Colonial Power, contract approvals (Senior Center exterior doors, bridge asset management services, on-call engineering services, Oakland Street well replacement, water treatment facility additional electrical services).
