The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) announced today that West Nile Virus (WNV) positive mosquitos were detected in Milford, Norton, and Quincy. The town of Medway would like to remind residents about some simple tips to prevent mosquito bites:

  • Use insect repellents
  • Wear long-sleeved clothing
  • Schedule outdoor activities to avoid the hours from dusk to dawn during peak mosquito season.
  • Repair damaged window and door screens
  • Remove standing water from areas around your home
