Storm clean up/flooding update: Town Manager Michael Boynton 4:30 pm.

Eversource MA is currently on its way to work on power restoration on Highland Street. Next, they will move on to Patridge Street. We are still communicating with them on Norfolk Street/Wellington Street.

Flooding issues:

Rte. 109. between Gray Squirrel and West Street is flooded and causing damage to the road. Rte. 109 will be closed from Summer Street to West Street (detour in place).

Charles River is overflowing onto Village Street in the area of 66 Village St. Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) has closed the Shaw Street bridge. Therefore, Shaw Street is closed, and there is no through traffic to Franklin.

Village Street, eastbound, will be detoured down Oakland Street to Rte. 109 as the Charles River has breached its banks.

All roads will be open to residents.
