Building Capacity

As a Town property, the Thayer Homestead is a completely handicapped accessible, no-smoking facility, and subject to the terms and conditions applicable to all town buildings and spaces. The property has the following rental capacities:

• Thayer Hall: Maximum is 120 if seated in row seating and 110 if seated at tables, plus 8 catering staff.
• Homestead Suite: 20
• Total building capacity is 120, plus 8 catering staff.
• Parking is limited to 38 cars and 2 handicapped spaces. Overflow parking can be found at neighboring Choate Park, when available, or on the street, if permitted.
