Thayer Homestead contains Thayer Hall, the new open concept function space, and Homestead Suite, the cozy setting for the bride’s preparation. Set on an expansive lawn with views of the adjacent park and pond, the space combines country charm with sophisticated elegance and offers all the state-of-the-art amenities the big day requires.
 

Thayer Hall features open-concept architecture that combines warm wooden interior walls with expansive glass exterior walls, framing panoramic views of the sloping lawn and Choate Pond and Park to the east. The floor to ceiling wall of windows opens to a spacious outdoor patio, complete with tables and chairs. The working gas fireplace is accessible from both inside and outside. Thayer Hall comfortably seats up to 110 guests at round or rectangular tables or up to 120 in a more casual setting. The Caterer’s Kitchen is a state-of-the-art facility, designed by a caterer to meet all catering needs.
 

Homestead Suite is the charming country setting in which the bride and her attendants can prepare for the big day in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It contains comfortable furniture, large mirrors, and access to a private bathroom.
 

Outside, the beautiful old beech tree and expansive lawn provide a wonderful backdrop for some memorable photos of your event.
