Medway Dog Park (To Re-Open on 5/29/2020)

We are happy to share good news from Medway Parks and Recreation!  The Dog Park will re-open on Friday, May 29th. 

Please read the following guidelines before visiting the park:

  • The dog park closes at sunset.
  • Use the dog park at your own risk.
  • Please properly supervise your dog(s).
  • No outside dog toys allowed.
  • Do not congregate in groups of 10 or more.
  • Do not touch other dogs.
  • All visitors of dog parks should maintain enough control over their pets via leash or voice control to comply with social distancing guidelines.
  • If there are more than 10 people in the park, please wait in your car until another person leaves.
  • During peak usage time, limit yourself to 20 minutes in the park to give others an opportunity.
  • Limit contact with high touch equipment in the park (gates, benches, etc.).
  • Practice hand hygiene as CDC Guidelines recommend to help prevent the spread of the virus.
  • The use of face masks is required to be worn in accordance with CDC guidelines.
  • Please stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms as listed in the CDC guidelines.
  • Please do not enter the Dog Park if you meet any of the exposure risks as listed in the CDC guidelines
  • Social distancing according to CDC Guidelines must be practiced at ALL TIMES. Patrons must maintain a minimum of 6 feet from others.

Medway Public Library (Update 5/27/2020)

We are happy to share that The Medway Public Library will be providing outside pick up of books, audiobooks, CDs and DVDs starting June 1st. Patrons may request items online (medway@minlib.net), by email or by phone (508-533-3218). Library staff will find the items, put them in a bag, and contact you to arrange a time to pick up your items outside. Town Hall Open to the Public - By Appointment ONLY (June 8th) Update (5/26/2020)

Per Governor Baker’s phased re-opening guidelines, Town Hall will open to the public, by appointment ONLY, beginning June 8th. 

Please be advised of the following changes in procedures:

Each department will be able to schedule one appointment at a time.

All visitors must wear a facial covering and maintain social distance while in the building. 

Appointments will be met at the back entrance of Town Hall and escorted by Town employees through the building.

The Medway Public Library and the Senior Center are undertaking re-opening planning for future phases.  More information about these services will be available in the coming days.
