Pick up your Christmas tree at the Medway Lions tree sale - All proceeds go to charity!

Don't forget to pick up your Christmas tree this weekend at the Medway Lions' tree sale conveniently located at the Shell Gas Station on Rte. 109 in Medway.  Sales began just after Thanksgiving with the help of the Medway Highschool hockey team.  The team has helped the Lions unload all of the trees from the truck for the past few years and do a great job! MHS peer counselors have also worked tirelessly filling volunteer shifts like crazy! Come down and get your Christmas tree and wreath; all proceeds go to local charities.

When you buy a tree or participate in any of the Lion's fundraisers throughout the year, your donation could go to one or all of the following causes: The Police Department's Annual Holiday Fund, High School Peer Counseling, Medway food pantries, ultrasound therapy machine for High School Athletic Dept, eyeglasses & eye exams for Medway residents in need, 14 fruit trees at Medway Community Farms, playground equipment at the "old" Choate Park and the Medway300 event.

The Medway Lions Club raises money for charitable and volunteer efforts in Medway and surrounding communities through their year-round fundraisers listed below.  They also raise money at the local, state, national and even international level to assist in eye research.  When they aren't raising money, they are involved in service projects throughout the year such as The Sunshine Group Walk-a-thon and Senior Citizens Barbecue.  They proudly sponsor the Medway Leos Club as well as locally held concerts.  They collect donated eyeglasses and hearing aids via the drop box at the Medway CVS on Route 109.

All donations are truly appreciated; money, eyeglasses/hearing aids and/or time received from the community and local businesses in support of our community service and charitable efforts.  THEY COULDN'T DO WHAT THEY DO WITHOUT YOU!
