Medway Fire Department holds annual Secret Santa again this year!

Christmas should be the happiest time of year for families but sometimes it can be the most stressful, especially for parents.  Once again this year, the Medway Fire Department would like to help any families (Medway residents) with kids, that are struggling financially or grappling to put presents under the tree for their kids. 

How it works-

1. Fire Department is provided the name of a Medway family in need (Completely confidential).
2. We assign a Fire Department member to a family.
3. We ask the parent(s) to provide us with the children's age and whether they are male or female.
4. We ask the parents to provide us the child’s Christmas list. 
5. The Fire Department member assigned to the family shops for the items on the childs christmas list.  It is our goal to purchase as many items on the list as possible.  (We limit the amount of money per child per family).
6. The Fire Department member wraps all of the presents purchased (wrapping is parents preference) and the gifts are delivered to the home a few days before Christmas. 

The Medway Fire Department is pleased to make public that we have provided gifts to over 50-60 families in the 10 years or so that our Annual Secret Santa has been in existence.  Each year more families in need are identified and the Medway Fire Department is honored to be able to give back to the community in this way.
