Business Spotlight: Pangea Cuisines

Andrea Crow-Henry and her wife Katherine Crow-Henry have owned and operated Pangea Cuisines in Medway for the last two years.  Pangea Cuisines focuses on locally grown quality ingredients and clean eating.  Chef Andrea makes every dish Pangea serves from fresh whole foods with no artificial or altered foods.

The name of the company has an interesting origin.  The story on their website explains: During the Paleozoic era 300 million years ago, all land in the world was connected into a single supercontinent called Pangea.  Over the millennia, as earthquakes have splintered tectonic plates and oceans have risen and fallen, Pangea broke apart and eventually drifted into the seven continents we know today.  The word Pangea means “entire Earth” in ancient Greek.  With that meaning in mind, Pangea was developed to help people reach their nutritional needs while drawing from the basic, whole foods our bountiful earth offers.

Pangea has built their business focusing on meal delivery and catering and are actively expanding.  They recently purchased a food truck, the “Continental Drift” and will be at farmer’s markets and festivals in eastern Massachusetts area starting this summer.  Andrea is enthused about bringing healthy and locally sourced food to a wider audience.

Pangea can work with you to develop menu choices that accommodate any food allergies, special dietary needs, paleo, vegetarian or any other considerations.

Andrea is active in Medway and recently served as co-chair of the Medway Pride Committee.  Support local business and visit their website www.pangeacuisines.com
