NOTICE OF MEETING
The listed matters are those reasonably anticipated by the Chair to be discussed at the meeting. Not all items may in fact be discussed and other items not listed may also be brought up for discussion to the extent permitted by law. Serving the Veterans of Medway, Hopkinton, Holliston, Ashland
The Board of Directors of the MetroWest Veterans’ Services District will hold a meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 8, 2016 in the conference room at 1750 Washington St, Holliston, MA.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:
1. Call to order
EXECUTIVE SESSION
2. Executive Session: Contract Negotiations: To conduct strategy sessions in preparation for contract negotiations with non-union personnel relative to the Director of Veterans Services.
PUBLIC SESSION (9:20am)
3. Public comments, opinions or questions – Residents are invited to share ideas, opinions or ask questions regarding veteran services.
4. The Board will consider accepting the following public session minutes:
April 25, 2016
5. AUP Audit Report – Roselli, Clark and Associates: The Board will receive a best practice audit report prepared by Mr. Roselli on the District’s business operations conducted on June 1, 2016.
6. Directors Report – The Director will provide updates on Ch 115 Beneficiaries, VA Claims; Staff Activities, Budget and Legislative Items of Interest.
7. FY2017 Meeting Schedule – The Board will consider accepting the 2017 meeting schedule.
8. Town of Holliston Financial Procedures (travel reimbursements) – The Board will seek to resolve the conflict between the District Travel Policy and the Town of Holliston policy.
9. District Renewal – The Board will discuss and finalize its formal request to the Secretary, MA Department of Veteran Services for the continuation of the district.
10. Lease Agreement with the Town of Holliston – The Board will review current lease agreement for office space with Town of Holliston.

11. Training: Processing Financial Assistance "A to Z" – The Director will conduct an informal presentation / discussion on how district staff processes financial assistance.
12. Board Reorganization – The Board will discuss and elect a new chairman and new secretary, Effective September 30, 2016.
