A message from the Medway Lions:

"Kindness is the language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see" 

With a great deal of excitement and anticipation as to the possibilities, the Medway Lions Club has kicked off the pilot of our newest service project. At times it seems there just isn't enough kindness in the world. In addition to all the projects we currently do, we decided to try another to address this. Each Medway Lion is given $100 ($5000 total) to use to generate some kindness/help someone in need/buoy someone's spirits/donate to a cause etc. Lions can also pool their money and create an even bigger impact. Each kindness is then reported and will be "chronicled" by the Club. We hope to create some ripples. If you happen to be kinded? Do what you can, when you can to create a kindness of your own, never forgetting the value of a kind word or cheerful smile. We cannot wait to hear of the many ways our Lions choose to be kind.
