A message from the Energy Committee:

The final phase of the Town’s LED streetlight retrofit began on Monday February 20^th   Crews from Siemens Industries will install the final 327 lighting fixtures over the next 2-3 weeks.  The cost of the installation project is being underwritten by a grant from the State of Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources Green Communities Grant.  Because Medway is a designated Green Community the Town qualifies for funding for capital projects that reduce energy usage, greenhouse gases, carbon emissions and operating costs.  Credit goes to both the Town’s Department of Public Services and Medway’s Energy Committee members.
