Where can I get a walker, commode, wheelchair, etc.?
Walkers, commodes, wheelchairs, shower chairs, crutches and canes are available for you to borrow at Mahan Circle, an elderly housing complex in town. Call 508 533-2434 for hours.
Do I have to pay to come to the Senior Center?
You do not have to pay to come to the Senior Center. We do ask for a $3.00 donation for our exercise programs. The Medway Friends of Elders produce a monthly newsletter that you may receive at a cost of $5.00 per year for a senior and $25.00 for a family.
How can I find out about services that may be available for my elderly parents?
Call the Council on Aging and speak with our Outreach Worker. She can connect you with available services.
Can I get a ride to a doctor’s appointment?
Yes, we provide transportation to doctor’s appointments, grocery shopping and local errands. We use both paid and volunteer drivers. Simply call the Council on Aging and we will do our best to accommodate you.
How old do I have to be to use the Senior Center?
There is no age limit to use the Senior Center.
