What is the Master Plan?
A Master Plan, sometimes referred to as the comprehensive plan, is the official document which outlines the Town’s land use and development policy. It helps guide the Planning and Economic Development Board and other Town boards in their decision making. Medway’s Master Plan was last updated during 2008 and was approved by Town Meeting in 2009. The effort was undertaken by a committee of residents and representatives of various Town boards and committees. Goals and implementing actions were established for land use, open space & recreation, housing, public facilities, economic development, and transportation.
