Shaw Street Update - Tuesday, June 08, 2010

 

Shaw Street is open to through traffic.

W.L. French Excavating completed work on the sheet piling.  Final roadwork is scheduled for July 12th.  Some other work remains on the road shoulders such as drainage and landscaping.  Landscaping will wait until the fall growing season.

The Department of Public Works (DPW) is an integrated department directly responsible for the activities of Building Maintenance, Highway, Water, Sewer, Vehicle Maintenance, Parks (by special arrangement with the Board of Park Commissioners) and for coordination with all other departments having public works functions.
