The Board of Selectmen is seeking a Citizen at Large volunteer to serve on the newly formed Thayer Property Development Committee.  The historical Thayer homestead is located at 2B Oak Street, abutting Choate Park.  This 3 acre property was owned by Addison and Lydia Thayer who also owned and operated the mill across the street (on the south side of Main Street) and, in fact, built the dam that formed Choate Pond to run the mill. 

Through the Thayer Property Development Committee, the Board of Selectmen is soliciting input about the future of this property and its proposed development.
